UPDATE (November 2012): Activists return to Wally's Piggery
A few days ago, activists returned to Wally's Piggery. For the moment, the farrowing sheds are empty - there are no sows or piglets on site. A large number of grower pigs (2-6 months) remain, in the same filthy conditions seen four months earlier.
In the slaughter room, activists found a pig's head underneath a chair, pools of fresh blood on the floor and cutting table, blood spatter on the walls, blood and fur in the scalding tank, and a new mallet, all indicating that Wally is continuing to illegally bludgeon and kill his pigs, right under the nose of the authorities.

Poor pigs, they are smarter than dogs and deserve at least a decent life ... I don't eat animals and I hope this video will help people realize how absurd all this industriel farms are and go vegan, as it is the only way to stop hell. Great video thanks to you!!

I find it disgusting that this treatment to pigs is being allowed, I not only do wish that Wally's piggery be shut down, but all piggerys be shut down.

Farrowing Crates
Sows are confined to enclosures so tiny they can't turn around, and are repeatedly impregnated. Restricted space, filthy conditions, and abuse from employees result in the frequent injuries and deaths of the piglets and their mothers. This is common practice within the commercial pig industry in Australia and worldwide.
The Slaughter Room
At Wally's Piggery, 20 minutes from Australia's Capital Territory, the owner bashes his pigs to death with a sledgehammer and hacks at their throats while his employees stand by drinking beer, some pigs taking up to 6 minutes to die. The pigs' remains are left sometimes for days on end to be eaten by stray cats and other pigs.
